One of a Kind Purple Geometric Sapphire and Diamond Ring
About the Ring
At the heart of this piece is a 1.14ct light purple sapphire, responsibly sourced from Sri Lanka and traceable back to the mine that supports local miners and cutters. Heated to enhance its natural beauty, the gemstone reflects a delicate pastel tone with refined brilliance and an elegant, feminine presence.
The sapphire is embraced by 18K yellow gold, giving the design warmth and timeless sophistication. Five natural diamonds, FG+ colour and VS+ clarity, are set with intention, adding subtle sparkle with a total weight of approximately 0.15ct. The ring weighs 3.70 grams, offering a balance of durability, comfort, and elevated craftsmanship.
This ring is a harmonious blend of colour, material, and meaning - crafted in size 6.5 with the option to resize, designed for those who value rarity, artistry, and a connection to where their jewellery begins.
Appraisal Value - $9,150 Canadian Dollars
About the Collection
This collection began with a simple idea. Earlier this year, Justine set out to explore a new setting style, combining a bezel with eagle-claw prongs to see where the design might lead. She paired the setting with a sapphire from Sorbet Sapphire and added a selection of natural diamonds to create balance. The very first ring felt right the moment it was completed. It sold quickly, inspiring her to continue refining the concept.
Gathering more sapphires, she evolved the design and allowed that initial piece to guide the creative process. The result is a capsule collection - a small, cohesive family of rings all connected by the spark that came from experimenting with unexpected combinations.
