Sorbet Sapphire is proud to introduce Montreal-based jewellery artist and designer, Justine Quintal - an artist at heart whose journey through the creative world ultimately led her to an undeniable calling in fine jewellery. The moment she discovered the jewellery industry as she describes it as her “ah ha!” moment– the moment everything aligned.

Justine honed her craft at l’École de Joaillerie de Montréal, dedicating three years to mastering the technical foundations of the trade. She then gained hands-on experience as both a bench jeweller and production manager, collaborating with some of the most respected names in the industry.

In 2016, Justine earned national and international recognition when she won the prestigious Saul Bell Design Award in the Emerging Artist category. This milestone propelled her work into the spotlight across Canada and the United States and further established her voice as an artist and designer. 

Today, Justine devotes her time fully to her namesake brand, where her creative process lies in curating exceptional gemstones and pairing them with diamonds and gold to create a harmonious balance. She believes fine jewellery should express the individuality of its wearer.

Her designs celebrate the perfectly imperfect nature of being human, embracing balance rather than symmetry, intention rather than convention, and the beauty found in each unique stone and person.
