House Special Jewelry embodies a larger story of cultural celebration, creating pieces that can be playful, sentimental, and treasured. Inspired by her childhood spent in Chinese-Canadian diners and large, heaping plates of golden fried rice shared amongst family, Iris draws from this display of love to bring dreams to life. Much like a home, pieces made by House Special Jewelry are a representation of the wearer and something to live with and treasure everyday, creating memories to be passed on. Weaving traditional techniques like lost-wax casting and fabrication with modern tools, each piece is produced by hand in our Vancouver studio with a commitment to equity, community and our Earth in mind.
